Workshop:
Deadly Thinking – Mental Health Training for Youth
This workshop is completed in three-hour sessions. We can start at a time that suits your organisation.
Deadly Thinking Youth is an opportunity for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people (12-20) to yarn about a whole lot of stuff that affects them. Our workshop offers a safe and culturally appropriate environment for young people to yarn about their troubles and learn how to feel strong in body, mind, and spirit.
Workshops are delivered for small groups between 10-20 people. Karyn carefully guides the group through the material, encouraging group participation and activities.
General Workshop Information
Perfectly Imperfect can travel to remote community locations to deliver workshops, or can deliver webinars.
Each course considers local perspectives and experiences and utilises lived-experience stories and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander photography, film, and artworks.
Realistic media representation matters and leads to better outcomes for those participating in training and the people they go on to support.
All participants of Perfectly Imperfect training receive a signed Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the course.
