A highly experienced healing & trauma workshop facilitator with vast lived experience!

Hi, my name is Karyn Moyle-Egan. I am Warlpiri, Eastern Arrernte, and Djaru woman who lives and works in Larrakia Country and I am the Director of Perfectly Imperfect.

I’m deeply passionate about delivering Mental Health and Suicide Awareness programs to Indigenous people throughout the Northern Territory. I’m an experienced facilitator who draws on knowledge from my lived experience with Mental Health, Suicide, and Trauma. I profoundly understand the impacts of the Stolen Generation, as felt in my own family.

I facilitate programs ensuring the Cultural Safety of all participants at all times. Through extensive professional and community based networks, I am constantly immersed in contemporary Indigenous affairs and therefore I am very aware of the current issues in our urban, regional, and remote Aboriginal communities.

With my culturally appropriate approach, together with experience on the issue of suicide prevention and postvention in our Aboriginal communities, it ensures that all sessions are held in an interactive,

informative, and culturally safe environment. When sessions become confronting for participants, I ensure they feel comfortable and fully supported if triggered.

My workshops can be tailored to a full day or two-day format, and all participants receive an attendance certificate upon completion.

Introducing Bubbles,
our amazing Therapy Dog!

Perfectly Imperfect has our very own therapy dog. Bubbles provides cuddles and loves a friendly pat, allowing our clients to feel comfortable and relaxed especially in those times of stress, anxiety or sadness.

It’s proven that dogs are extremely efficient in elevating mood and providing relaxation to humans. It makes our four-legged friend a perfect companion to children and adults and it’s why she’s so helpful in treating people with anxiety and other mental disorders.

Bubbles is a beautiful, gentle girl. She loves to play, enjoys cuddles and has a very bubbly personality. Her breed is Spoodle, well known for their loving and sociable nature. Spoodles are ideal therapy dogs because they have a calming and soothing effect on people. While Bubbles is available to support all clients, we ask our clients to also support her by being just as kind and gentle in return.
